This year, I've had the pleasure of exploring a new artistic medium. Despite my inclination towards canvas work, the fear of the unknown had kept me from pursuing it until now.
With 'Into the Unknown', I've delved into a world of mystery, fear, challenge, and self-exploration. The series is divided into two halves; one that provokes deeper layers of thought and emotion, while the other half is centered around the idea of being at peace and accepting things as they are.

A note from the Artist.
This new canvas series has definitely taught me to be unworried and patient with it’s process. I love my somewhat slow pace in my artistic practice as well as it being a favourite part of my personality. These artworks deserved the all the time they needed and helped me understand that there is no race.
It’s super easy to get caught up in this fast-paced world we live in (I know I do) and feel like we need to rush through everything in life. For me it leads to only frustration and disappointment when things don’t turn out the way I want. I like to take the time to slow down and appreciate the journey which usually leads me to a greater sense of satisfaction and fulfillment in the end.
So next time you find yourself feeling rushed or impatient, remember that there is no race and it’s okay to take your time to create something truly beautiful and meaningful."
